Ennek l\u00e9nyege, hogy egyens\u00falyban k\u00edv\u00e1njuk tartani az emberek j\u00f3ll\u00e9t\u00e9t, a k\u00f6rnyezet\u00fcnk v\u00e9delm\u00e9t \u00e9s a gazdas\u00e1gi teljes\u00edtm\u00e9nyt. Ez a szeml\u00e9let j\u00f3 sorvezet\u0151k\u00e9nt szolg\u00e1lt a Covid idej\u00e9n. Visszatekintve a j\u00e1rv\u00e1ny legnehezebb id\u0151szak\u00e1ra, a legfontosabb l\u00e9p\u00e9seink azok voltak, amikkel biztos\u00edtani tudtuk munkat\u00e1rsaink eg\u00e9szs\u00e9g\u00e9t. Csapataink rendk\u00edv\u00fcli \u00e9s sikeres er\u0151fesz\u00edt\u00e9seket tettek a logisztikai \u00e9s beszerz\u00e9si neh\u00e9zs\u00e9gek \u00e1thidal\u00e1s\u00e1ra. Mindezek eredm\u00e9nye az volt, hogy magyarorsz\u00e1gi egys\u00e9geink folyamatosan meg\u0151rizt\u00e9k a m\u0171k\u00f6d\u0151k\u00e9pess\u00e9g\u00fcket, folyamatosan ki tudtuk szolg\u00e1lni vev\u0151inket. A kereslet term\u00e9szetesen a mi term\u00e9keink ir\u00e1nt is cs\u00f6kkent \u00e1tmenetileg, ennek voltak hat\u00e1sai a munkarend\u00fcnkre, \u00e9s ebben az id\u0151szakban anyagilag is t\u00e1mogattuk a legnehezebb helyzetben lev\u0151 kolleg\u00e1inkat. B\u00fcszke vagyok arra az \u00f6sszefog\u00e1sra, profizmusra \u00e9s elsz\u00e1nts\u00e1gra, amit csapataink a j\u00e1rv\u00e1ny idej\u00e9n tan\u00fas\u00edtottak. A nyersanyag-ell\u00e1t\u00e1sban az elm\u00falt m\u00e1sf\u00e9l \u00e9vben diverzifik\u00e1ltuk a forr\u00e1sainkat, \u00e9s a portf\u00f3li\u00f3ban ma a kor\u00e1bbin\u00e1l nagyobb ar\u00e1nyban jelennek meg t\u00e1vol-keleti vagy eur\u00f3pai besz\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00f3k. Ennek k\u00f6sz\u00f6nhet\u0151en fennakad\u00e1s n\u00e9lk\u00fcl tudtuk biztos\u00edtani ny\u00edregyh\u00e1zi gy\u00e1runk alapanyag-ell\u00e1t\u00e1s\u00e1t. Term\u00e9szetesen folyamatosan dolgozunk alapanyag-beszerz\u00e9s\u00fcnk optimaliz\u00e1l\u00e1s\u00e1n. A \u201eminden fenntarthat\u00f3\u201d szeml\u00e9let\u00fcnk egy m\u00e1sik j\u00f3 p\u00e9ld\u00e1ja az, ahogy az energiav\u00e1ls\u00e1got kezelt\u00fck: a kor\u00e1bbi, alapvet\u0151en g\u00e1z-alap\u00fa vulkaniz\u00e1l\u00e1si \u00e9s f\u0171t\u00e9si rendszereinket elektromos alap\u00fara alak\u00edtottuk, ezzel egyr\u00e9szt lehet\u0151v\u00e9 v\u00e1lt, hogy teljes m\u00e9rt\u00e9kben meg\u00fajul\u00f3 forr\u00e1sokat haszn\u00e1ljunk, \u00e9s \u00edgy cs\u00f6kkents\u00fck k\u00f6rnyezeti l\u00e1bnyomunkat, m\u00e1sr\u00e9szt n\u00f6velt\u00fck az energia-hat\u00e9konys\u00e1got (egys\u00e9gnyi fogyaszt\u00e1sban \u00e9s egys\u00e9gnyi k\u00f6lts\u00e9gben is), mindemellett jav\u00edtottuk t\u00f6bb munkaposzt munkak\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00e9nyeit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Az eml\u00edtett infl\u00e1ci\u00f3 egyik mell\u00e9khat\u00e1sa, hogy a k\u00ednai gy\u00e1rt\u00f3k olcs\u00f3 term\u00e9kekkel \u00e1rasztj\u00e1k el a piacokat. \u00d6n szerint kell t\u0151l\u00fck tartani a nagy gy\u00e1rt\u00f3knak? Mit javasolna a fogyaszt\u00f3knak, milyen szempontok alapj\u00e1n v\u00e1lasszanak?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Glob\u00e1lisan a budget szektor piaci r\u00e9szesed\u00e9s\u00e9nek emelked\u00e9s\u00e9t figyelhetj\u00fck meg. Az eur\u00f3pai gy\u00e1rt\u00e1s\u00fa budget m\u00e1rk\u00e1k ismerts\u00e9ge, a term\u00e9kek min\u0151s\u00e9ge, illetve a term\u00e9kek mell\u00e9 ny\u00fajtott szolg\u00e1ltat\u00e1sok ugyanakkor m\u00e9g ebben a szegmensben is indokolhatnak magasabb \u00e1rakat. Mindazokkal a l\u00e9p\u00e9sekkel pedig, amelyekr\u0151l az infl\u00e1ci\u00f3 kapcs\u00e1n besz\u00e9lt\u00fcnk, a felhaszn\u00e1l\u00f3k sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra elfogadhat\u00f3 s\u00e1vban tarthat\u00f3 az \u00e1rk\u00fcl\u00f6nbs\u00e9g. A fogyaszt\u00f3knak tiszt\u00e1ban kell lenni\u00fck azzal, hogy csak kev\u00e9s gy\u00e1rt\u00f3 k\u00e9pes az abroncsok minden teljes\u00edtm\u00e9ny\u00e9t egyidej\u0171leg jav\u00edtani vagy ak\u00e1rcsak azonos szinten tartani, \u00e9s az alacsony \u00e1r sok esetben valamelyik teljes\u00edtm\u00e9ny cs\u00f6kken\u00e9s\u00e9vel \u00e9rhet\u0151 el. Ez\u00e9rt v\u00e1s\u00e1rl\u00e1s el\u0151tt \u00e9rdemes t\u00e1j\u00e9koz\u00f3dni az abroncsok fogyaszt\u00e1s\u00e1r\u00f3l (g\u00f6rd\u00fcl\u00e9si ellen\u00e1ll\u00e1s\u00e1r\u00f3l) vagy f\u00e9kez\u00e9si tulajdons\u00e1gair\u00f3l. Ez a k\u00e9t param\u00e9ter j\u00f3l l\u00e1tszik a term\u00e9kc\u00edmk\u00e9n. A v\u00e1s\u00e1rl\u00f3 sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra nagyon fontos tov\u00e1bbi param\u00e9ter az \u00e9lettartam (fut\u00e1steljes\u00edtm\u00e9ny), ez az eur\u00f3pai c\u00edmk\u00e9ken nem l\u00e1that\u00f3, de f\u00fcggetlen tesztek alapj\u00e1n el\u00e9rhet\u0151. Ez azt is jelenti, hogy n\u00e9gy\u00e9vszakos abroncsok el\u0151ret\u00f6r\u00e9se feltart\u00f3ztathatatlan? Azt gondoljuk, hogy minden fogyaszt\u00f3nak a saj\u00e1t vezet\u00e9si szok\u00e1saihoz igazodva kell abroncsot v\u00e1lasztania \u2013 bizonyos ter\u00fcleteken ak\u00e1r m\u00e9g Eur\u00f3p\u00e1ban sem hagyhat\u00f3k el a t\u00e9li vagy \u00e9ppen a szegecselt abroncsok, m\u00e1s ter\u00fcleteken pedig a ny\u00e1ri abroncs ny\u00fajtja a legjobb megold\u00e1st. \u00c9ppen ez\u00e9rt a strat\u00e9gi\u00e1nk az, hogy minden felhaszn\u00e1l\u00f3 sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra, minden haszn\u00e1lati k\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00e9nyre fejleszt\u00fcnk \u00e9s k\u00edn\u00e1lunk term\u00e9ket.<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00d6n milyen abroncsot haszn\u00e1l? Az abroncshoz kapcsol\u00f3d\u00f3 tev\u00e9kenys\u00e9g j\u00f3 p\u00e9ld\u00e1ja haz\u00e1nkban a \u201eServices and Solutions\u201d csapatunk, amely sz\u00e1ll\u00edtm\u00e1nyoz\u00e1si flott\u00e1k sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra ny\u00fajt komplex abroncs-szolg\u00e1ltat\u00e1st. Milyen abroncsokkal fogunk t\u00edz \u00e9v m\u00falva aut\u00f3zni? <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A Michelinn\u00e9l a j\u00e1rm\u0171vezet\u0151k val\u00f3s ig\u00e9nyeit szolg\u00e1l\u00f3, \u00e9lvonalbeli term\u00e9keket szeretn\u00e9nk k\u00edn\u00e1lni. Hisz\u00fcnk abban, hogy a j\u00f6v\u0151 mobilit\u00e1s\u00e1nak egyre biztons\u00e1gosabbnak, egyre hozz\u00e1f\u00e9rhet\u0151bbnek, hat\u00e9konyabbnak \u00e9s k\u00f6rnyezetbar\u00e1tabbnak kell lennie. Ez a n\u00e9gy c\u00e9l vez\u00e9rli a term\u00e9kekkel \u00e9s a szolg\u00e1ltat\u00e1sokkal kapcsolatos fejleszt\u00e9seinket. Egyr\u00e9szt az elektromos aut\u00f3k eset\u00e9n az abroncsoknak nagyobb s\u00falyt \u00e9s nagyobb nyomat\u00e9kot kell t\u00e1mogatniuk. M\u00e1sr\u00e9szt egyre t\u00f6bb \u00fajrahasznos\u00edthat\u00f3 anyag jelenik meg az abroncsgy\u00e1rt\u00e1sban. A Michelinn\u00e9l az a c\u00e9lunk, hogy 2050-re az abroncsainkat 100%-ban vagy biol\u00f3giai eredet\u0171 vagy meg\u00fajul\u00f3 vagy \u00fajrahasznos\u00edthat\u00f3 anyagokb\u00f3l \u00e1ll\u00edtsuk el\u0151. A harmadik ir\u00e1ny pedig az abroncsok adatkapcsol\u00e1sa a j\u00e1rm\u0171h\u00f6z. A t\u00e1vlatok mind a h\u00e1rom ter\u00fcleten sz\u00e9d\u00edt\u0151ek. Mit hoz a j\u00f6v\u0151? 10 \u00e9v m\u00falva az abroncsok \u00fagy fognak kin\u00e9zni, mint a mostaniak? Tal\u00e1n nem. Hiszen m\u00e1r bemutattuk a felnit \u00e9s a leveg\u0151 n\u00e9lk\u00fcli abroncsot egybeolvaszt\u00f3, meg\u00faj\u00edthat\u00f3 fut\u00f3fel\u00fclet\u0171 VISION koncepci\u00f3t. In our series, we interview the leaders of these companies on current issues. This time, we spoke to the Managing Director of Michelin Hung\u00e1ria Kft. about the future of four-season tyres, Chinese competition and their work in Hungary.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The past few years have taken their toll on the sector: COVID, raw material problems, inflation. How have you reacted?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>We take decisions based on our &#8216;everything is sustainable&#8217; approach announced a few years ago. This is about balancing people&#8217;s well-being, environmental protection and economic performance. This approach has served as a good line guide during Covid. Looking back on the most difficult period of the pandemic, our most important steps were to ensure the health of our employees. Our teams have made extraordinary and successful efforts to overcome logistical and procurement difficulties. As a result of all this, our Hungarian units have continuously maintained their operability, and we have been able to serve our customers continuously. Naturally, demand for our products also decreased temporarily, which had an impact on our work schedule, and during this period we financially supported our colleagues in the most difficult situations. I am proud of the cooperation, professionalism and determination that our teams showed during the pandemic. In the past year and a half, we have diversified our raw material sources, and today we have a higher proportion of suppliers from the Far East or Europe than before. Thanks to this, we were able to ensure the supply of raw materials to our factory in Ny\u00edregyh\u00e1za without any interruptions. Of course, we are constantly working on optimizing our raw material procurement. \u00a0Another good example of our &#8216;everything is sustainable&#8217; approach is how we have dealt with the energy crisis: we have converted our previous gas-based vulcanisation and heating systems to electric-based, allowing us to use fully renewable sources and thus reducing our environmental footprint, increasing energy efficiency (both per unit consumption and per unit cost) and improving working conditions for many job posts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>One side effect of this inflation is that Chinese manufacturers flood the markets with cheap products. Do you think big manufacturers should be afraid of them? What criteria would you recommend consumers to use to make their choices?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Globally, we are seeing an increase in market share of the budget sector. However, even in this segment, awareness of European-made budget brands, product quality and services may justify higher prices. And with all the steps we&#8217;ve talked about with inflation, we can keep the price difference within a range acceptable to users. Consumers should be aware that only a few manufacturers are able to improve or even maintain all the performance of tyres at the same time, and in many cases a low price is achieved by reducing one of the performances. Therefore, before buying, it is worth finding out about the consumption (rolling resistance) or braking properties of tyres. These two parameters are clearly visible on the product label. A very important additional parameter for the buyer is the lifetime of a tyre (or mileage). It is not visible on European labels, but can be found through independent tests. We are convinced that the Michelin Total Performance logo on the sidewall of our tyres shows that thanks to our high technical know-how, we can balance all tyre performance parameters at the same time. When it comes to regulating tyre performance, we welcome the new EU rules expected in the coming years: the R117.4 standard for rolling resistance or the inclusion of tyre wear in the Euro7 standard. By ensuring that only products of adequate quality can be placed on the market, these actions are directly in the interests of consumers by reducing consumption and protecting our environment. One of the consequences of stricter technical requirements may be the displacement of very cheap, low-performing products.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In Auto Bild&#8217;s all-season tyre test, CrossClimate2 scored the highest score, beating out 100 competitors. Does this mean that the rise of all-season tyres is unstoppable? What is Michelin&#8217;s strategy in this area?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The all-season tyre market is very dynamic, for several reasons. On the one hand, winters in Europe have been mild in recent years. On the other hand, seasonal tyre changes and the elimination of storage of the transmission set are convenient and economical solutions for consumers. We believe that every consumer should choose tyres according to their driving habits \u2013 winter or studded tyres are needed in some areas, even in Europe, while summer tyres are the best solution in others. That is why our strategy is to develop and offer products for every user and every usage condition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What tyre do you use? (Whether on a company car or a private car)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>I myself have been using Michelin CrossClimate tyres for years, currently I am using CrossClimate 2.<\/li>\n<li><strong>In addition to tyres, Michelin is also present in several other fields in Hungary. What can we know about these activities?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The basic pillar of Michelin&#8217;s strategy is to strengthen our \u201caround tyres\u201d and \u201cbeyond tyres\u201d activities in addition to tyre production and trade. Our goal is that by 2030, 20-30% of our sales should come from these two areas. A good example of \u201caround tyres\u201d activity in Hungary is our &#8222;Services and Solutions&#8221; team, which provides complex tire services for transport fleets. One of our latest innovations in this area is the artificial intelligence system that evaluates the impression image of the tyres on vehicles and provides a complex analysis of their condition and expected mileage. A well-known element of the \u201cbeyond tyres\u201d area is the Michelin restaurant guide. We have been publishing the red guide about restaurants in Budapest for years, but this year we presented a guide covering the whole country for the second time \u2013 we think that this is a worthy tribute to the best representatives of Hungarian gastronomy. In addition, in order to raise awareness of today&#8217;s pressing environmental challenges, several of our colleagues volunteer to promote the internationally known &#8222;Climate Fresco&#8221; program. Our colleagues are the first Hungarian animators, and they also initiated the adaptation of the method in Hungarian. Currently, they are enthusiastically planning the first workshops for schools, municipal organizations and affiliates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Every year, tyre manufacturers are adding new models to the market, and experts say the tyres are getting better. What is the state of the industry, compared to ten years ago? What is the main direction of R+D? What tyres will we be driving with ten years from now? <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>At Michelin, we want to offer cutting-edge products that serve the real needs of drivers. We believe that the mobility of the future must be ever safer, more accessible, more efficient and more environmentally friendly. These four goals guide our product and service development. The fact that we spend around \u20ac650 million a year on research and development, that 6,000 of our colleagues work on this field and that we have 10,700 active patents worldwide is perhaps a testament to our commitment to innovation. We have made huge progress in many areas and research in these areas is still intensive, so I expect further major changes and breakthroughs: improving rolling resistance, reducing the weight of tyres, developing tyres with ever larger diameters and smaller sidewalls. At present, I see three directions appearing very markedly in addition to these. On the one hand, in electric cars, tyres must support more weight and torque. On the other hand, more and more recyclable materials are appearing in tyre production. At Michelin, our goal is to produce 100% of our tyres from either bio-sourced, renewable or recyclable materials by 2050. The third direction is the data connection of the tires to the vehicle. The prospects in all three areas are dizzying. What will the future bring? In 10 years&#8217; time, will tyres look like they do today? Maybe not. After all, we have already presented the VISION concept with renewable tread, which merges rims and airless tyres. The VISION is not yet available on the market, but our Uptis tyres, which are also completely restructured, are.
